Movie News
Unless you hang out in Ryan's room on sundays or late saturday night then you wouldn't know about the exciting new idea for frequency.
We are going to make a movie. This was inspired from a little conversation between Alyce and Justin and has slowly developed into a practical idea.
The movie is called "Travis Brown, the movie". Yes, it features the weekend experiences of Travis while he is with frequency. While this may seem boring, Travis is in fact, an interesting person. More specifically though, interesting things happen while he is in the room.
A rough draft of the script has been penned and currently is being typed out with added content. Once this process is completed, casting will begin along. The movie is expected to begin production in late July with a special screening at the end of the year.
Stay tuned for further information regarding the movie. If your interested in helping out with the movie please email me or leave a comment. My email can be found on the bottom of the side bar.

We're like that *crosses fingers*
I've read through the entire archives of many a webcomic, but there was one that actually showed his posting at the time. So his posts were archived with his comics. This gave me a good chance to read about the things he gets up to over the years. I'm refering to Real-Life. The maker Greg Dean has in a way kept an online journal about his life. While my blog is approaching its 2 yr i haven't really been that consistent with the types of things i mention. I thought i would now take the time to give you a quick update on my relationship with Fiona.
It's wonderful, she is better then i could ever imagine. She now works as the manager of Express Pizza in Girraween, so she works 6 nights a week. This means that i don't get to see her as much as i would like. but we make do with what time we have.
She came over my house on monday night and we played World of Warcraft together :D. She slept in the spare room and we spent most of tuesday just watching movies. I can't wait to play more WoW though.
Anyway, i just felt that i should make some meaningful post every so often about my various relationships so that one day down the track i can look back and smile fondly at the memories.

*Woof!* Went the dog
Today was a momentous occassion for the Staker household. It is the day that we got our new puppy.
Yes thats right, a puppy.
A beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful 2 month old golden retriever named Meeka.
We have been wanting a dog for a while now, but we had to finish various projects in the backyard before we could get one, like the decking and extra fencing.
But at long last we have one, if you look below you will see pics of her when she first arrived.
Anyway, time to go now. See ya tomorrow for morning service.
God Bless

Spoilt
I often feel that as a human being I'm spoilt by the way I live. Fresh drinking water is readily available, I have plenty of food to eat and I'm given the opportunity to have a great education. Yep, life couldn't be much sweeter.
Oh but it is. I also have the good fortune of being a Christian. And a spoilt one at that.
Cityview has been my first church, frequency was my first real contact with Christians. So after attending cityview and frequency for over a year I've come to expect things are just normal. For instance I'm sitting at a computer in my Pastor's house writing this post. I wonder how many other Christians are on such a personal connection with their pastor.
Every Sunday morning I get up at 6:30am to help setup the church for service. When I hear about other church's that have things setup permantly I start to wonder what they do with themselves. I can say that I'm involved with the running of the church, while it may only be a small part, I'm still involved with it. I'm not just someone who arrives 10mins before service, stays in the audience for the whole service, mingles abit after then leaves. I'm not sure I could ever do that again. I've got a chance to do all that because I happen to be best friends with the Youth leader. How many other people can say that.
Now all this might sound like I'm just going on about how great my life is. Well it is. And I owe it all to God. He has given me such great opportunities in life, I just don't want to ever waste them. I'm so lucky, I pray for those who don't have the same chances I do.
I leave you know with some lyrics from Relient K. This is from their song I So Hate Consequences. From the album MmmHmm.
"I said the words I knew you knew
Oh God, Oh God I needed you
God all this time I needed you, I needed you
And I so hate consequences
And running from you is what my best defense is
I hate these consequences
Because I know that I let you down
Now I don't wanna deal with that"

The Only Reason
The only reason i still have this blog up is that at some point i might like to mention God. I have lost the desire to tell people all the trival things i get up to. If you want to know them then ask me.
This will only be a short post because i don't have much to say at the moment.
Well, see ya.
