Everyone who lives in Perth can see the pillar of thick, black smoke rising up from the hills. There are currently several bushfires raging through the parklands of the darling ranges. A blanket of smoke is slowly covering the city, the sun has turned a dark, angry orange. Half the fires are under control but the rest will mean a nervous night for the people living nearby.
