The Day

Its friday morning and i had a fantastic time yesterday. I now have more details to fill you in on.
I arrived at Fiona's house at 9 o'clock, had to wait half an hour for her to do her hair and makeup. Then we drove over to macca's in Vic Park where we had a nice breakfast, well as nice as you can get from McDonalds. We had just finished eating when we spied a certain someone walking towards us. It was non other then Pastor Pamela. She was there to meet David Hubbard for a coffee and a chat. Anyway, we talked for about 20mins before Fiona and I left. It was when we were standing next to my car when Fiona got her scarf out and wrapped it around my head. Yes, i was blindfolded. I had to sit in the passenger seat of my own car while she drove me to some unknown destination. Several round abouts and a couple of brake slammings later we had arrived. She unwrapped the scarf from my head and i looked around with amazement. We were at the Welshpool licensing centre. At this point i didn't have a clue what was going on. Then Fiona announced her suprise for me. I was to get personalised license plates :D I never would have guessed that in a million years. So we lined up and in a matter of minutes i was filling in the forms for the plates. I'm not going to tell you what they say, you will have to wait until i get them before you find out. I now ask anyone who knows what they say to keep their mouths shut.
So once that was done we bought some beads at carousel, then went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Amadale. It was really good, i recommend you to see it. Johnny Deep did a great job of playing Willy Wonka. The Umpa Lumba's were a little disappointing but overall it was great. I give it 8/10 stars.
After the movie we went to Gosnells markets and bought more beads. Then we were over at carousel again where we said hi to diana, bought some dinner and ate it in a park.
After our Hungry Jacks's we headed over to Fiona's house so we can watch some Daria on DVD.
Overall it was a great day, and i just loved my present.
I'll see everyone on Sunday, bye bye.

I'm Excited!!

I'm Excited, bet you didn't guess that one.
I'm excited, but for a good reason. As a few of you would know (only the clever ones) my birthday is this sunday. I'm looking forward to it because i turn 19 (pay increase) and i will be getting a MP3 player for my car. I have no idea what brand it is, but i'll take heaps of pics of it and post them :D.
Thats not all i'm excited about though. Tomorrow i'm going on a date, a date with my gorgeous girlfriend (another suprise i'm sure). We're going out for breakfast, most likely to McDonalds, then we're going to go to some secret, magical place that i don't know anything about. I'm getting an early birthday present from Fiona, well kind of. We're going in tomorrow to order it, then i have to wait 3 weeks to get it. I have no idea what it is, fiona has given me some clues but they only make things worse.
After that we're going to do something, i don't know how long it will take to order my present, we may visit some people. Then we're going to Armadale cinema's to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Then we can go back to her place where we can watch Daria on DVD.
It sounds like i have the whole day planned already. But whatever we do we will have fun in each other's company. I couldn't think of any other person to spend a day with.
Anyway, Curtin has annoyed me a bit lately so expect a rant soon, but for now i have one of many assignments to finish. Stupid assignments.
Bye bye all you Umpa Lumpa's

And another pointless post

*relaxs*
I just got home from playing ping-pong at church.
It was alot of fun, i didn't get to play much though. I only had three games. I lost the first singles game against AK, i'm sure he got Nat to cheat. The second game was a doubles with Fiona. We played Alyce and Rima, we beat them :D.
The third and final game was against Justin's parents. They beat us :(. It was mostly his dad's serves that got us. Anyway, it was fun.
Saturday night was Volleyball at Frequency. That was great, we all drove to Kelmscott and played indoor beach volleyball. My team only won one game, Luke was always against me, and we all know he carried his team. I slept over Ryan's house, we played Halo 2 untill late. It was great, rockets were flying everywhere.
Sunday was the same routine, i went home early to finish an assignment that i had to hand in this morning.
Anyway, i still have more work to do and no one really reads this anymore.
So, bye

The Low Down

Well, I've been doing stuff lately, not much i can really say to it, its just uni stuff.
Last Saturday was a good night, we had our first quiz night. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and the questions weren't too hard. Aside from my questions of course, i think the highest score was 2/10. And you call yourself Australian *shakes head*
Anyway, this Saturday is the last frequency for the term, i can't remember what we're doing but I'm sure it will be great.
My birthday is soon, you can check out the exact date. I still haven't decided what I'm doing for it. I might spend the time doing homework, won't that be fun. Speaking of birthday's, Alyce's blog turned one yesterday.
Tomorrow night Fiona is coming over for dinner, i can't wait to see her again. You should be able to look forward to her posting tomorrow. So check out her site.
Anyway, i got a report to finish. So have a good week and I'll see you on Saturday.

Like A Bee

I've been so busy lately, they have been giving us assignments every week. To make things worse i've had tonsilitus for over a week now, so i've haven't been in any state of mind to do study. But its not all bad, i got an assignment back today, my result was 40/50.
I've started to get better now, i'm taking antibiotics so i should have a full recovery in a few days.
Last week was a good night at frequency, we played some messy games. Paul and i did a masterful rendition of The Strong Man. I played the clever old man who ultimately wins because i used my mind rather then muscles.
This saturday should be exciting, we're having a quiz night. That reminds me, i need to find some questions :S
So, i hope your happy that i put some pics up and made a post. It seems to be getting harder and harder to get comments from you people.
I'll see everyone on sat, well i better, otherwise i'll smear honey on your face and set a packet of rabid honeyeaters onto you.

Those are cheetos in case you were wondering, and theres some shaving cream as well.

My Work

Awhile ago i started to draw a lamborghini diablo in AutoCAD, i stopped working on it because of time and i lost the sheet i was using. I still had the old file and recently i found out how to draw 3D. This is only a little bit of work, the finer details will take some time but you get the idea.
Well..... see ya

Killer Squirrels

It was a dark night, the branches of the acorn tree outside blotted out most of the light from the moon. The only sound in the room was the dry, shallow breathing of the small boy huddled in the corner. Fear gripped his heart whenever he heard a soft, scrapping sound outside his room.
He knew the soft pattering sound of feet all too well. It was a night similar to the one now when he had his encounter.
It had started out as a beautiful day; he was playing in the park without a care in the world. James had decided to seek shelter from the warm sun under the tree branches. He was lying on the ground staring up into the branches when he noticed movement above. With a shout of glee, he quickly climbed up the tree and settled down on the lowest branch.
A small, brown squirrel stared back at James with wonder in its cute little eyes. James held out his hand towards the fuzzy creature. As the squirrel hoped along the branch towards the outstretched hand, ominous music started to play. James quickly turned towards the source of the music. A teenager walking past with a stereo on his shoulder stared back at James with a big grin on his face.
Ignoring the music the squirrel raced up James’s arm and sat down on his shoulder. It looked like nothing could spoil this day.
The memories of that day flooded back to him. Visions of horror filled his mind.
“So much blood”, he whispered to himself.
A few hours after getting a new squirrel companion, James was sitting on his bed playing with his new friend. It was only at that point that he realised he hadn’t seen his dog all afternoon and even more strangely was the new collar that the squirrel was wearing. It looked a lot like the one that his dog wore. James just shrugged this off as coincidence and kept on enjoying himself.
Eventually night fell and James climbed into bed. He was awoken at midnight by a movement on his bed. He switched on his bedside light and saw the squirrel sitting on his stomach. He was just about to switch the light off again when he noticed an evil glint in its cute, brown eyes.
“Don’t be afraid”, squeaked the squirrel.
James started at the squirrel with horror as it slowly made its way towards him.
“All I want is your nuts”

Holding Back...

Today I was at Armadale shopping centre. I reversed into a parking bay, switched off my engine and heard a strange sound. A couple of women walked past my car, at first I thought they were looking at me, then I realised they were looking at the van next to me. Inside were a small child, and a baby in the back seat. It was crying, hence the noise and peculiar looks.
I started thinking; I should call the police or something. But my mind started
to make excuses, the window was half-open, the mother would be back soon. So I walked away, against better judgement I didn’t do anything. Of course, I made the deal with myself, “I won’t be long, and if they’re still there when I come back I’ll make the call”.
Luckily, the mother came back. I noticed a woman leaving the shopping centre when I entered it. I watched her walk in between the cars until she came to a rest next to the van. She opened the door and comforted the crying baby.
Seeing that still didn’t ease the voice inside me that said, “You should have done something; you had the power in your hands to help. The police were less then a minute away. It wouldn’t even have been a bother for them.”
So I asked myself, what would I do the next time that happens, or something similar? As a human, I’m more then capable to do anything I put my mind to. All I need to do is take that step. What happened happened. All I can do is learn from it.
Now the big question comes back to you the reader. What are you holding back? Is there something you know you should do now but keep making up excuses? Is there someone waiting for you to tell them that you love them?
I put it towards anyone who has read this, why delay? Maybe there won’t be a next time.
