Ok, this rant was inevitable. It was nothing to do with paul's.
So guess what I'm going to rant about....... That's right, UNI!!!!
It just seems like they enjoy messing around with us Mechatronic engineers. Is it some kind of deep-seated jealousy?
I found out my exam timetable today, luckily i have only three exams but wait till you hear the times. First exam is Thursday, 6:45 - 10. That's pm people. Yes, an exam going till 10pm at night! The next day we have another exam at 12pm, grrrr. The third, and final exam is at 8:30am on Tuesday. So, we have a nightmare exam.
To make things even worse, when they were deciding what classes to give us they felt that having two 12.5 credit units was simply a waste of time. So they wanted to clever, and super efficient and cram the contents of both classes into one class. So we have 6 weeks to learn a 12 week course. Oh fun!
And to add icing on the cake, we have a lab in a room that belongs 10 years ago. All the equipment in the room is outdated. Instead of using the industry standard digital oscilloscopes, we're using analogue ones. If you don't understand what this means, it means we're using stuff That's difficult to use, and will probably never use in the workforce anyway.
ARGH!! It annoys me that we kept getting messed around with. But we will show them one day.
